Ned is the mentally handicapped cousin of Sally Impossible and her brother Cody.
History[]
While on a tour of Impossible Industries, one of Richard Impossible's inventions went wrong. As a result, Ned was mutated, gaining 3-inch thick skin that now serves as armor, protecting him from such things as tranquilizers, as well as super strength, though this new form also leaves him in constant pain.
Professor Impossible would do his best to keep Ned hidden from the public, seeing his mutation as a potential risk to both his public image and business, as well as due to his severe mental handicap. In later years, he lived on Spider-Skull Island for many years with his cousins Sally and Rocket, and Jonas Venture Jr..

- Ned is somewhat similar to The Thing of the Fantastic Four, except Ben is serious, hot-headed, and somewhat violent, while Ned is childish, jolly, and somewhat nonviolent, an exact opposite of Benjamin Grimm. He has super strength like Ben does, but does has no skill at fighting.
