Plug Face Guy is a frequently recurring background character on the Venture Bros. He appears to be a villain and a member of The Guild of Calamitous Intent from the times he has appeared at Guild functions.
History
Judging by their embrace at the end of Any Which Way But Zeus, Plug Face Guy seems to have a relationship with Mommy Longlegs (or at least, had, prior to her death in All This and Gargantua-2). As Henchman Zero had kidnapped them both, it appears they worked together but their power dynamic is perhaps not clear as one being the leader of the other. The way they embrace at the end might signify something more than a professional relationship.
Plug Face Guy seems to be vulnerable to water, as contact with it causes him to sputter and spark. On the other hand, he may have some resistance to physical abuse, as he has taken several blows from Brock Samson and lived to tell the tale.[1]
Trivia
- While his name has never been officially revealed, show creators Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer informally refer to him as "Plug Face Guy".[2]
- Some fans also refer to this character as "Power Plug".
