Clyde was an orangutan Dr. Thaddeus Venture sought to teach boxing as part of a scheme to flush up some quick money. It was given Dean Venture as an opponent, but it usually went after Hank Venture when given the signal to attack. Despite this seeming animosity, Clyde showed up to save Hank from the Wereodile at the end of Dr. Quymn, Medicine Woman.
